Restaurant Sjöö offers gourmet food experiences

You often hear people say that the kitchen is the heart of the home, and that’s certainly true here at Hällsnäs. We want every meal to be an experience in itself. Our ingredients are carefully chosen and our food is prepared with both heart and soul.

Breakfast

There’s something for everyone on our breakfast table. Each morning our baker makes delicious sourdough bread, succulent rolls and scones. You’ll find scrambled eggs, bacon, a selection of juices and more.

Lunch

Enjoy a flavorful lunch focused on fresh ingredients – perfect for a relaxing midday break. The weekly lunch is served Monday to Friday from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

À la carte

At Restaurang Sjöö, we offer an à la carte menu where high-quality ingredients meet creative craftsmanship. Each dish is carefully composed to provide a flavorful and enjoyable dining experience.

Our vision

At restaurant Sjöö, we aim to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where great food and good company take center stage. We combine high-quality ingredients with creativity and care in every dish, striving to make each meal an enjoyable experience for all the senses – perfect for both everyday dining and special occasions.

The kitchen is led by brothers Thomas and Christoffer Sjögren, who ensure that every detail is crafted with passion and precision.

Hällsnäs hyllade julbord

A Christmas buffet beyond the ordinary, just outside Gothenburg, set in a sparkling environment and crafted by Thomas Sjögren (Chef of the Year 2015) and his team. The menu is partly traditional but also focuses on game, vegetables, as well as fish and seafood – all designed to create a sustainable, innovative, and playful Christmas dining experience.
