Hällsnäs’ restaurant offers gourmet food experiences
You often hear people say that the kitchen is the heart of the home, and that’s certainly true here at Hällsnäs. We want every meal to be an experience in itself. Our ingredients are carefully chosen and our food is prepared with both heart and soul.
Food which is made with love
Our chef patron Thomas Sjögren and his kitchen team are constantly working to compose new exciting menus, following the changing seasons. Using their own kitchen garden and collaborating closely with local farmers, they create magic in the kitchen.

Inspired by the four elements – earth, fire, air and water, we serve a tasting menu with at least 18 courses, sometimes more, depending on what the season has to offer. The Nordic seasons and local ingredients are our focus, as is the close collaboration with local farmers, fishermen and other suppliers who provide us with ingredients of the highest quality.
Our ambition to be as self-sufficient as possible when it comes to ingredients is so that we can work sustainably, keeping control of quality, waste and production.
Behind the restaurant concept is partner and chef patron Thomas Sjögren, Chef of the Year 2015, alongside chefs Markus Pettersson and Hampus Fors, both of whom spent many years at Michelin starred restaurant 28+.
There’s absolutely no doubt that we are wine lovers through and through. Our winelist covers the whole world but our preference is the Old World in general and French wines in particular.
Browse among over 1000 labels from the world’s best vineyards and producers. Our sommeliers hand pick and match wines to your food from it, for the best experience. We also offer wine tastings and are happy to tailormake them to your requirements.
In the old part of the manor you’ll find our Orangery. The magnificent view and the glorious natural light in there makes it a lovely oasis. Sit yourself down with a glass of something nice or enjoy a coffee and digestif after a delicious dinner in Sjöö. The Orangery can also be booked by groups of up to 40 people for christening lunches or private events, for example.
The hotel bar
Next to the bar you’ll find our club room, where you can have a seat in one of our armchairs, or play a round of shuffleboard or billiards.
