Hällsnäs Hotel is beautifully situated between a shimmering lake and peaceful pine forest. Here, you’re surrounded by nature yet just a short drive from both Gothenburg and Landvetter Airport – only 15 minutes by car to either destination.
Have a secluded stay with a view that will take your breath away
At Hällsnäs all rooms have a separate entrance and are en suite, with toiletries, hairdryer, TV with satellite channels, and a view of the garden. Single rooms, double rooms, family rooms and two suites can all be booked. One of the suites is ideal for weddings or honeymoons and comes with a private hot tub. The lakeside suite is right on the shoreline, with its own jetty.
Idyllic historic country estate
Hällsnäs has a fascinating history which stretches back in historical documents all the way to the 1640s. That was when District Bailiff Johan Sigfridsson, who led the citizens of Landvetter in rebellion against the Danes in 1644, was named.
The present manor was built in 1906 and used as the summer residence of a wealthy dentist from Gothenburg. Today Hällsnäs is a hotel with conference rooms, a library, reception, bar, restaurant and kitchen.
Here at Hällsnäs we’re delighted to be able to offer a hotel stay in our idyllic country estate, where the tranquil surroundings and plentiful fresh air make it easy for everyone to forget the stresses of everyday life.
When you stay with us breakfast, bathrobe and slippers are always included.
Relax or be active?
The Hotel offers a spa experience with hot tubs by the lakeside, which can be combined with a sauna in the same location, for an extra charge. Book directly at the reception desk. When staying at Hällsnäs you’ll have access to both the indoor and outdoor fitness centres, and you can hire bikes and canoes.
And speaking of enjoyable activities, there is both a golf course as well as tennis and padel courts nearby.
Parking and wifi is free of charge for all our guests.
Hällsnäs is a dog friendly hotel
It’s common knowledge that dogs are man’s best friend, which is why Hällsnäs offers a dog friendly hotel stay for both you and your best friend. We all need a getaway, and what could be better than being able to bring the whole family?!
Stroll around our beautiful estate or go for a longer walk along the wilderness trail. The surroundings are perfect for invigorating walks, best enjoyed together.
The dog friendly rooms are in our garden. Unfortunately we can’t allow dogs in the main building where our bar, restaurant and lounge are. It’s therefore very important that your dog can be left alone in the room when you visit the main building.
